You Are:

A skillfulengineering practitioner and advisor. As a consultant, you will provide actionable insights to the world's top organizations, helping them address priority issues with strategies they can execute with speed and at scale, utilizing engineering experience in product development or product management, engineering function assessments, business case development and blueprinting improvement strategies including Digital Thread/ Digital Twin, engineering operating model design, advanced analytics and should-cost modeling.

  • You will support our clients across a broad range of industries to address their issues related to:

  • Engineering transformationsoptimizingorganization structure, new product development process, R&D spend and product lifecycle management systems

  • Zero base product cost management through value analysis, valueengineeringand Design to Value assessments

  • Product Strategies including Product as a Service, Platform Ecosystems and Sustainable Products

  • Innovation Management and Product Portfolio Optimization balancing voice of customer and cost to serve

  • Digitizing Engineeringfunctionwithnew technologieslike Digital Thread / Twin, Robotic Process Automation, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, etc.

  • You will spot, isolate, and solve engineering problems using your skills in:

  • Advanced analytics - Return on R&D costs, Product Cost, Business case models

  • Should-costmodelling- Direct / COGS (incl. metals, plastics, electronics etc.)

  • Operating model architecture - people, process technology

  • You will also, throughout your work, have opportunities to:

  • Lead small to medium sized teams (2-5), with diverse backgrounds skills and knowledge

Here's What You Need:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working on engineering improvement initiatives

  • 1 year of experience in internal or external consulting role at comparable level

  • 1 year of experience related tonew technology(Digital Thread / Twin, Robotic Process Automation, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, etc.)

  • Bachelor's Degree orequivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (Ifassociatedegree,musthaveminimum6 years' work experience).

Bonus Points if you have:

  • Preferred Industry experience inConsumer Product Goods, High Tech, Industrial and SDV (Software-Defined Vehicle)

  • Tier 1 management consulting firm experience

  • An MBA or equivalent graduate degree

  • Previousengineering experience

  • Experience with CAD and PLM systems

  • Ability to support both client sales origination and project delivery

  • Ability to effectively manage and coach others
