Registered Nurse (RN) Position Details

The RN is a professional caregiver who provides leadership and expertise in total patient care in collaboration with other members of the health care team and in accordance with policies, procedures, and standards of practice to promote optimal patient outcomes. The RN:

  • Works in a combined unit of medical, surgical, pediatric, obstetric, nursery, and swing bed patients.
  • Performs assessments and provides care to patients of all ages in order to develop a plan of care in collaboration with the patient, family, and other health care providers.
  • Coordinates services and interventions identified in care plans.
  • Evaluates the patient's response to, and progress toward, their optimal patient experience and outcomes.
  • Is committed to patient and family centered care.

What You Offer

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Minnesota.
  • The ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with patients and families, peers, physicians and other health care professionals.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Work Schedule

Two positions available. 

Position 1 - Block Schedule

  • Part-time, 36 hours per biweekly pay period
  • 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights
  • Includes every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays
  • Prior OB experience preferred

Position 2 - Non-Block Schedule

  • Part-time, 36 hours per biweekly pay period
  • 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights
  • Includes every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays
