We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Risk Management Analyst to support the Risk Management team with the analysis, evaluation, and management of insurance policies, claims, renewals, and risk exposures. The successful candidate will assist in reviewing underwriting data, preparing reports and presentations, developing analytics and assessing trends, and supporting risk management activities to help optimize business performance and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the renewals of EOG's Property, Casualty, Directors & Officers Liability, Cargo, Aviation, Foreign Liability, Fiduciary Liability, Crime, and Surety bond renewals.
  • Assist with the coordination of underwriting submissions, exposure data collection, and broker deliverables to ensure accurate and timely placements
  • Review insurance policies and coverage terms to ensure adequacy and compliance with EOG's risk exposures; develop and maintain annual risk exposure reports
  • Maintain accurate records of policies, claims, contracts and other insurance related documentation
  • Assist with managing internal and external contracts, evaluate risk exposures and recommend appropriate types & levels of insurance coverage
  • Review third party certificates of insurance to ensure compliance with EOG's insurance requirements
  • Assist claims team with incident handling, monitor claims status, liaise with Legal and other internal parties to obtain relevant data related to the claims, review insurer coverage letters, respond to insurers' request for information, etc.
  • Process Invoices related to insurance expenses including claims costs, renewal premiums, and bond renewals, additionally maintain tracker of insurance policies
  • Assist surety bond team with monthly renewals and maintenance of corporate bond program
  • Attend field site visits to understand operational risks and identify risk mitigation solutions
  • Conduct research on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes
  • Work closely with Legal, Operations, Safety and HR on daily tasks and special projects
  • Other miscellaneous insurance projects, assignments and assistance as requested by the Director of Risk Management

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • 3+ years of risk management, underwriting or insurance brokerage experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance lines (Auto, Property, Casualty, GL, Professional lines)
  • Must be organized, a team contributor and customer-focused to foster working relationships with others
  • Strong working knowledge with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
