Job description

The Role

GovExec is seeking an entrepreneurial, analytical, and driven individual to join our team. As Senior Director, Revenue Operations, you will lead the evolution of GovExec’s Revenue Operations to provide efficient pre-sale, contracting, booking, and financial operations across the organization. In this role, you will report directly to the VP of Project Management and Revenue Operations.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end deal architecture, creating and maintaining robust processes that optimize revenue operations from initial opportunity to final cash collection.

Revenue Operations
  • Work cross functionally with go-to-market teams to optimize and enable the sales process.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a small team of operations specialists focused on continuous process enhancement and execution excellence.
  • Facilitate monthly close process for the Operations team in conjunction with product teams, finance, and accounting.
  • Administer and scale the company’s CRM system (Hubspot).
  • Provide ongoing support, training, and documentation to CRM users across the organization to ensure data hygiene and system adoption.
  • Develop an advanced understanding of product offerings and pricing systems to support inventory management and planning.
  • Deliver actionable weekly and monthly data insights to leadership and cross-functional teams to drive strategic decision-making.
Contracting
  • Optimize and maintain the contract lifecycle, leveraging LLM technology and automation where practical to accelerate turnaround times.
  • Govern the repository of master sales documents, ensuring standard contracts and templates are easily accessible and useful.
  • Draft and review Contracts, SOWs (Statements of Work), insertion orders, and other legal documents for our media business, and manage the review and iteration process with internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct business and legal review of all outgoing customer contracts and SOWs.
  • Review customer red-lines and contract requests, escalating to the GovExec legal team when necessary.
Systems & Integrations
  • Support M&A integration strategies, successfully onboarding acquired companies' commercial, financial, and operational systems into the core GovExec infrastructure.
  • Refine, improve, and maintain existing GovExec infrastructure to maximize efficiency and ease of integration for newly-acquired companies.
  • Participate in organizational workflow initiatives including but not limited to: automation, data distribution, central resourcing.

  • 10+ years experience of relevant full time role
  • Deep knowledge of CRM functions and capabilities
  • A background in legal analysis
  • Strong organization skills, attention to detail, clear communication, eagerness to learn, and a strong work ethic

Compensation

The compensation range for this role is $110,000 to $125,000 per year.
