Job description

Job Title: Medical Science Director (South Central) Location: - LA, KY, MS, MO, TN Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $200,000.00 - $220,000.00 Work Model: Remote Hours: 40.0 Overview Responsibilities

  • Support medical affairs activities across oncology, infectious disease, nephrology, and acute care through compliant scientific exchange and insight gathering.
  • Engage with healthcare providers, KOLs, pharmacy stakeholders, and institutional decision-makers to foster trusted relationships within inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Assist in the development and execution of medical strategy, including publication planning and evidence dissemination.
  • Identify and support clinical trial sites, investigators, and referral networks to facilitate study enrollment and execution.
  • Respond to unsolicited medical information requests in compliance with corporate policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Provide scientific education and training to internal teams and collaborate within a matrix organization to achieve medical objectives.

Requirements

  • Advanced healthcare or scientific degree (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, DNP, NP, PA-C, or equivalent).
  • Preferred 1+ years of field medical/MSL experience in a related role.
  • 1โ€“5+ years of experience within an academic, healthcare, or pharmaceutical setting preferred.
  • Oncology experience required, with additional experience in infectious disease, nephrology, or critical care strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional scientific communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship-building abilities with healthcare providers and institutional stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in scientific literature evaluation, medical data interpretation, and insight gathering.
  • Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and compliance orientation.
