About the Role
We are looking for a highly energetic, result-oriented, passionate, and hands-on Project Engineer with a desire to join a growing team. The person would be supporting programmatic engineering functions such as planning, directing, and coordinating the activities involved in estimating, constructability and contract reviews, and training & development of project level engineers.
The primary purpose of this position is to support the planning, coordination, and execution of mission-critical infrastructure projects. The Project Engineer ensures that all technical aspects of the project are executed to meet the high standards of reliability, scalability, and security required in data center environments. The role involves close collaboration with project teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. The Project Engineer will establish KPIs to help drive program improvement, and the position also requires participation of onboarding, training, and mentoring of new project engineers and the mobilization of new project sites.
What You'll Do
• Support the RFP process by performing constructability and contract document reviews
• Review and interpret project specific drawing plans and specifications
• Manage and development of a VDC program
• Develop tools and procedures to improve engineering functions
• Develop training and mentorship for engineering personnel
• Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to engineering services
• Create a positive working relationship with stakeholders
• Provide courteous, professional service to customers
What You'll Need
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in construction project engineering or management
• Experience with contract management, lean practices, and value engineering
• Experience with data center or large-scale commercial construction is preferred
• Proficiency in project management or construction software such as Autodesk Build, Bluebeam, or Procore
• Knowledge of BIM and CAD systems and processes
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations
• CCM, EIT, PE, PMP certification or advanced education in engineering or construction management is a plus

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Project Engineer position is $110,000 and the maximum salary for the position is $130,000. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience.
Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(k), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
