Job description

Reports To: Red Bull Sales Manager

Description
The Energy Captain is responsible for leading, directing and controlling the sales, distribution, and delivery activities of all Red Bull products within all assigned territories. The Energy Expert will also be responsible for the direction and development of his or her Red Bull sales team.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work with Energy Experts in accounts to develop relationships and strengthen market presence.
    • Gain fair share of 45% of total energy space in the Independent C-Store channel.
    • Sell in new Red Bull VIP programs and upgrade existing programs to three or more shelves.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on activities, sales volume and expenses.
    • Red Bull market recaps are due every Monday.
  • Market wins and challenges.
    • Present Red Bull programs and promotions to existing and new potential customers.
    • Sale in independent display drives to Red Bull VIP customers.
    • Set up Quarterly promotions with local Chains Co-op with Red Bull.
  • Developing and track monthly MBOs for sales team to attain supplier and company goals to include programs, volume, distribution, merchandising, and promotional activity.
  • Maximize revenue growth through in-store audits and employee supervision.
    • Train salesman on Red Bull market standards.
      • Make certain you are aware of all your direct reports activities in the market.
  • Ensure accurate and timely customer service is provided to customer base.
    • Respond to customer concerns in a timely manner to help reinforce the importance of their business.
  • Develop strong business relationships with key customers within sales territory.
    • Involve key customers in company sponsored events.
    • Golf outings and business dinners.
  • Ability to run a route when a salesman calls in or the route is open.
    • Required lifting of 20 to 50 pounds is a must.
  • Develop sales-incentives programs to further encourage sales team to meet and surpass company goals.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
The Energy Captain needs to be able to work with many different types of people and personalities to lead an effective team.
Speaks clearly and in positive or negative situations; responds well to questions; group presentation skills; contributes and participates in team meetings.
Prioritizes and plans work activities; uses time efficiently; sets goals and objectives.
Has a thorough knowledge and understanding of Red Bull and other competitive brands.
Ability to perform well under stress and meet deadlines with high energy and strong leadership skills.
1 year sales experience preferred
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel
