About You

You are an experienced Senior Accounting Manager professional who thrives in a fast-moving environment where accuracy and ownership go hand in hand. You bring deep technical knowledge of GAAP and general ledger management, and you know how to lead a team through the demands of a full monthly close cycle. You are comfortable navigating acquisition integrations and purchase accounting under ASC 805, and you can translate complex financial data into clear, reliable reporting. You lead with clarity - your three direct reports count on you to develop them, remove roadblocks, and set a high standard for the work. Your ability to communicate complex financial information clearly across departments is essential, as you will regularly partner with leadership, operations, and external auditors.

What you'll do and how you'll have an impact

  • Lead acquisition integrations and purchase accounting in accordance with ASC 805, working cross-functionally with finance and legal
  • Own the full monthly, quarterly, and year-end close cycle, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all accounting entries and reconciliations
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including investor reporting where applicable
  • Maintain and continuously improve the general ledger system and financial record-keeping infrastructure
  • Manage and develop a team of three direct reports, setting clear expectations and supporting their professional growth
  • Partner with external auditors on the annual audit, serving as the primary internal point of contact
  • Research and resolve accounting issues to ensure ongoing compliance with GAAP

What we're looking for

  • 7+ years of progressive accounting and/or finance experience
  • 4+ years managing direct reports in an accounting or finance function
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA or equivalent strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with acquisition integrations, purchase accounting, or financial consolidations (ASC 805)
  • Experience with lease accounting is considered an asset
  • Proficiency with an ERP system (NetSuite experience is a plus)
  • Clear, direct communication skills - you will regularly present financial information to leadership and cross-functional teams who may not have an accounting background
