At CountryHouse Council Bluffs, an Agemark Senior Living community, we're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Director who enjoys solving problems, leading by example, and creating a safe, well-maintained environment where residents and team members can thrive.

What You'll Do

โ€ข Lead the Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Laundry teams while creating a positive, service-focused culture.
โ€ข Maintain the community's buildings, grounds, equipment, vehicles, and building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
โ€ข Complete preventative maintenance and respond promptly to maintenance requests.
โ€ข Ensure resident apartments are clean, repaired, and move-in ready.
โ€ข Coordinate vendor services, repairs, and department purchasing.
โ€ข Maintain compliance with OSHA, life safety regulations, fire codes, and other applicable standards.
โ€ข Conduct routine safety inspections, emergency preparedness activities, and fire drills.
โ€ข Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and department documentation.
โ€ข Manage department budgets and ensure projects are completed efficiently and cost-effectively.
โ€ข Assist with transportation and other community needs as required.

What We're Looking For

โ€ข Previous leadership experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field.
โ€ข Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, and general building maintenance.
โ€ข Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
โ€ข A proactive problem-solver who takes pride in delivering quality work.
โ€ข Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
โ€ข Experience working with vendors and outside contractors.
โ€ข Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergencies as needed.
โ€ข Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
