Position Description

W e currently have an opportunity for a Marketing Director. Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer and working closely with the Chief Sales Officer, this position is responsible for the design and implementation of the agency’s overall marketing and brand strategy to strengthen the firm's reputation, support growth, enhance current and future client experience, and reinforce OAA's award-winning culture.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing agency brand guidelines and visibility through social media, website management, targeted relationship campaigns, seminar and presentation development, etc. Additionally, the Director oversees ensuring memorable client and employee experiences which reflect our agency’s “white glove” hospitality and service standards.

Requirements
  • Creating website strategy, AIO and SEO strategies, digital marketing, social media, email marketing, public relations, and advertising including design, copy and press release writing.
  • Partnering with Sales Department and Business Consulting Division in the creation of external marketing and branding materials to support Advisors including campaigns and newsletters.
  • Partnering with Human Resources Department in the creation of internal marketing and branding materials to amplify recruitment and employee experience and engagement.
  • Analyzing marketing/communication activities, marketing initiatives and trends with CEO.
  • Implementing, managing, and monitoring advertising and marketing budget based upon broad organization goals and objectives.
  • Developing executive communications and thoughtful leadership and Advisor content for seminars and presentations; support OAA speaking engagements, association involvement, and community visibility.
Summary

A Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Communications or Public Relations is preferred. Minimum three years of experience in Marketing, Public Relations or Communications required with experience in the insurance industry preferred. Must be proficient with social media marketing and social networking sites.

This position requires knowledge of marketing, advertising and communication processes, graphic design, social media marketing and brand development, prospecting and candidate attraction and recognition. The ability to take initiative and proactively make recommendations for agency marketing solutions is a must.
