This leadership role is responsible for directing and overseeing project management activities across a complex, mission-focused IT services environment. Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities: The Associate Director will provide strategic direction, execution oversight, and people leadership for project teams responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering network and service-related initiatives that meet contractual requirements, service level commitments, and customer mission needs. The role requires close collaboration with program leadership, service managers, technical teams, subcontractors, and government stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and with consistent quality, while driving process improvement, operational readiness, and accountability across the RIS I program. * This position requires office presence a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.
* Ensure established service levels, performance objectives, and contractual requirements are met across supported environments.
* Create, implement, and sustain operational improvements that support established objectives across multiple facilities.
* Develop processes for effectively leveraging and using resources to meet customer needs, improve service delivery, and support mission requirements.
* Develop and maintain effective communications with management, staff, technical teams, and customer stakeholders to ensure services are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with contractual obligations.
* Investigate, assess, and resolve matters of significance, escalating issues as appropriate and ensuring timely follow-through to closure.
* Ensure appropriate planning and coordination for the impact of connectivity outages, service level agreements, operational risks, and other service delivery issues.
* Prepare and provide program management reports and briefings; manage deliverable schedules; and support process improvement initiatives.
* Maintain and track project status, including the Integrated Master Schedule, documentation status, key actions, and task assignments; monitor progress and keep leadership informed of status, risks, and required decisions. Required Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph. (#ts/sci) (#polygraph) Required Qualifications: * The candidate shall have twelve (12) to fifteen (15) years of experience as a Project Manager, Level 4, supporting complex operational, technical, or mission-focused programs.
* Experience may include a combination of relevant work history and education.
* A master's degree is equivalent to six (6) years of experience.
* A bachelor's degree is equivalent to four (4) years of experience.
* An associate degree is equivalent to two (2) years of experience.
* Degree must be from an accredited college or university.
* Demonstrated experience managing project schedules, deliverables, resources, risks, issues, and stakeholder communications in support of contractual or program objectives.
* Demonstrated ability to track project status, assign and monitor actions, prepare reports and briefings, and keep leadership informed of progress, risks, and required decisions.
* Experience supporting federal government or intelligence community contracts in a mission-critical IT services environment.
* Experience managing local hands-on technical support operations across multiple facilities or customer locations.
* Experience managing service level agreements, operational metrics, performance objectives, and customer reporting requirements.
* Experience developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules, project documentation, action trackers, deliverable schedules, and leadership status reports.
* Strong ability to coordinate across technical teams, program leadership, subcontractors, vendors, and customer stakeholders.
* Demonstrated experience identifying operational risks, resolving issues, supporting outage planning, and driving process improvements.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare executive-level briefings, program management reports, and customer-facing communications.
* Experience with ServiceNow, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, or similar tools used to manage tasks, schedules, reporting, and service delivery activities. Ready to join our team?
