Job description


Our Delaware team is growing and we are in need of a dynamic leader to join us in the role of Program Manager! The Program Manager will oversee our FMS program which provides Financial Management Services (FMS) and Support Brokerage to adult disabled individuals, helping them to maintain independence in the home and community throughout the state of Delaware. JEVS provides these services through Medicaid funding via the Division of Medicaid and Medical Assistance and through non-Medicaid funding via the Division of Services for Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities.

As Program Manager you will be responsible for supervising and training the telecommuting Support Brokers, assisting them with task prioritization, optimizing travel and scheduling strategies, and overcoming daily challenges to achievement of assigned goals. In this role your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Oversee all Delaware Support Brokers’ daily activities and schedules
  • Supervise Support Broker case load management and task completion
  • Audit, quantify and report to the Program Director on Support Broker deliverables and timeline compliance
  • Accompany each Support Broker at least one day per month on a field visit to observe and provide constructive feedback and formal evaluations
  • Generate and discuss reports for each Support Broker monthly with Program Director to ensure compliance with programmatic requirements and sufficient delivery of service
  • Participate in recruiting for all open positions within the program
  • Ensure Quality Assurance of all enrollment files via DocuSign; make recommendations, test pilot templates, and suggest improvements as necessary
  • Collaborate with FMS Tax Accountant in audit of worker's compensation policies
  • Participate in stakeholder/funder meetings as needed; attend conferences as exhibitor and manage exhibition resources
  • Other duties related to successful management of the program
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Human Services Administration, Social Services, Business, or related field; or a Bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field and 18 months of experience at a case management or management level involved with an FMS and/or participant-directed program.

  • Occasional travel from Wilmington to Dover
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially EXCEL and be familiar with Microsoft SharePoint and DocuSign software.

The base pay for this position ranges from $58,900 to $63,000 and will vary based on factors such as skills and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
