Job description

Summary
Provides leadership and coordination for planning, implementation, and assessment of all aspects of the Fulton County Schools Leadership Development and Professional Learning System
Essential Duties
  • Develops, monitors and coordinates the District's leadership development plan that includes training and development opportunities for aspiring, novice, and experienced teacher leaders, school administrators, and District level administrators
  • Develops, leads, and manages programs including Aspiring Leaders, Aspiring Assistant Principals, and Aspiring Principals programs
  • Develops, monitors, and coordinates strategic internal and external partnerships to develop customized programming and support
  • Develops, leads, and manages Fulton County Schools Leadership pipeline strategies
  • Develops processes for measuring and actionizing continuous improvement efforts of Leadership Development team
  • Participates in meetings, workshops, and seminars for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform duties
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the appropriate administrator

Required Education
Bachelor's Degree in Education
Certification/Licensure
Must hold or be eligible for Georgia Teaching Certification
Must hold or be eligible for Georgia Leadership Certification
Experience Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of experience in leading professional learning opportunities, preferably at the school and District level, with a minimum of 3 years building level leadership experience preferred; Experience working within a large complex organization preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Demonstrated leadership experiences
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver training to adult learners across multiple disciplines and levels
  • Demonstrated knowledge in differentiation and meeting the needs of varied adult learners
  • Proven ability to conduct professional development programs and project planning, management, and evaluation

  • Ability to plan and implement short and long-range goals and objectives
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others in program planning and delivery
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other technology tools
