Job description

We currently accepting applications for a full-time, 40 hr/week Maintenance Director.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Must have Management experience in Long Term Care Nursing Home.

Must have knowledge of general maintenance and functions of all equipment

Must have how to turn off main power supply, water supply, and/or gas supply to facility

Must be able to see small details, in equipment, machinery, etc.

Must be knowledgeable of Exposure Control Plan for Bloodborne Pathogens and Fire & Disaster Plan, and follow policies and procedures

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for budget, accounts payable, department employees, reports and required documentation

Responsible for Preventative Maintenance program and ensures compliance according to local, state and federal regulations.

Maintains all facility equipment in a safe and functioning manner.

Maintains furnishings and grounds, plumbing and electrical fixtures

Responsible for fire safety

Participates in Quality Improvement and Department Head meetings
