Configure specialized hardware including SpotOn touchscreen terminals, SpotOn Serve handheld devices, kitchen display systems (KDS), and thermal/impact printers.
Build and program backend menus using the SpotOn Teamwork and cloud dashboard, ensuring accurate menu items, modifiers, pricing tiers, and modern floor layouts.
Integrate ecosystem features to ensure cohesive data flow between the core POS, SpotOn Order (online ordering), SpotOn Reserve, and digital loyalty programs.
Conduct physical site surveys to verify network infrastructure readiness and optimal placement for hardware and Wi-Fi access points.
Maintenance, Network & Support
Troubleshoot cloud connectivity and local networking infrastructure (routers, switches, and access points) to guarantee uninterrupted tableside ordering.
Diagnose software and hardware glitches swiftly, escalating tier-3 issues directly to SpotOn developer support when necessary.
Provide hybrid technical support utilizing on-site physical interventions, remote-desktop access tools, and telephone guidance.
Participate in an on-call rotation to handle high-priority, business-critical emergencies during busy night, weekend, and holiday service shifts.
