Job description

Primary Function:

The Aquatics Specialist (Tech II) will continue to learn and gain experience in the operational aspects of Foster Lake & Pond Management. The Tech II will begin to work independently. They will be familiar with company policies, operations, and software platforms. They will strive to uphold the Core Values and Vision of Foster Lake & Pond Management (FLPM) and show a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities
RESULTS

Be proficient in FLPM policies

  • Embody company Core Values and Vision Statement.
  • Follow policies and procedures written in Employee Handbook.
  • Abide by FLPM safety policies and participate in scheduled safety meetings.

Be able to work independently on lakes, ponds, and stormwater device maintenance activities

  • Receive positive feedback from all FLPM divisions: Preventative Maintenance
  • Receive positive feedback from all FLPM divisions: Construction & Repair Services
  • Receive positive feedback from all FLPM divisions: Retail
  • Receive positive feedback from all FLPM divisions: Corrective Maintenance
  • Must be able to pass a monthly audit with an 80% or better
  • Must be thoroughly familiar with client's scope of service or contract requirements and be able to perform most necessary activities without direct supervision

Be proficient in the use of company software platforms

  • Effective communication through client reporting software based on supervisor feedback.
  • Effective time management through proper use of time tracking app with less than 25% admin time
  • Be familiar with our vehicle maintenance system and complete inspections by deadline.
  • Check the company calendar daily on workdays and update when necessary.
  • Complete company self-check-ins and other requested human resource items by stated deadline

Use effective communication methods.

  • Provide 2 pieces of Feedback in our human resource software monthly.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, supervisor, and other FLPM employees at all times.
  • Respond to company emails within 2 business days when necessary.
  • Respond to company phone calls and text messages during work hours.
  • Participate and assist in training opportunities

  • Be proficient in basic equipment maintenance and be able to perform all tasks on the proficiency checklist.
  • Be proficient in facility maintenance and be able to perform all tasks on the proficiency checklist.
  • Attend at least one company-led training annually.
  • Keep certification and licenses current through continuing education credits (CEUs) and/or additional training.
