Photobooth Supply Co

Job description

Photobooth Supply Co. (PBSCO) is the leading provider of photo booth hardware and software for entrepreneurs, photographers, DJs, and event operators. We're a scrappy, fast-moving team that creates content people actually watch.

We're not looking for someone to schedule posts. We're looking for someone who thinks like an educator, measures like a marketer, and genuinely cares about the photo booth operator community. Our strategy is simple: create content so useful that existing operators save it, share it, and send it to each other - because when prospects see that, they see exactly what they're buying into. At a $3,000+ price point, the community is the pitch.

What success looks like in this role:

  • Saves and shares per post (our primary signal that content is genuinely useful)
  • DM trigger volume by keyword via ManyChat automation
  • Follower growth rate and explore/search reach
  • Consistency and quality of the content calendar - nothing falls through the cracks
  • Monthly pipeline influenced by Instagram, tracked via UTMs & link-in-bio clicks

This is a majority remote position, but technically it is hybrid. You must be based in Southern California, as occasional in-person availability is required for shoots and events.

What You'll Do

Video Capture + Editing

  • Capture and edit short-form and long-form video content optimized for virality and platform performance
  • Cut and export Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts fast - while sounds are still relevant
  • Edit podcast and interview clips with tight pacing and strong hooks
  • Add captions, transitions, sound design, and graphics as needed
  • Maintain a consistent visual style aligned with our brand

Social Media Management

  • Plan, schedule, and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Threads
  • Monitor comments, engage with our audience, and manage ManyChat comment triggers
  • Repost, reshare, and amplify operator-generated content and community spotlights
  • Track saves, shares, DM trigger volume, reach, and pipeline influence via UTMs - and use that data to make better content decisions

Content Strategy & Creation

  • Build educational carousels tailored to booth operators - pricing strategy, client handling, event prep, business growth
  • Produce trending sound roundups in a "here's a sound + here's how booth owners use it" format - shareable, timely, discoverable
  • Coordinate operator spotlights (Millionaires Club, Six Figure Club) on a consistent publishing schedule
  • Ensure every product post teaches something - frame features as solutions, never lead with the sell
  • Ideate content angles that drive saves and shares as the primary quality signal

On-Camera & Production

  • Be comfortable and confident on camera - you will need to appear in content
  • Film content independently or collaborate with our team on shoots
  • Be available for occasional in-person shoots in Southern California

Requirements

  • At least 2 years in a paid social media management role
  • Strong writing skills; you can communicate clearly, conversationally, and with personality
  • Proven video editing skills with a portfolio that demonstrates your ability to edit for engagement and virality - please include a link or attachment with your application
  • Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or a comparable editing tool
  • Fast enough production process to turn around Reels while a sound is still trending
  • Plugged into trending audio in real time - you know what's about to pop before it peaks
  • Hands-on experience managing social media accounts with a track record of driving real engagement, not just impressions
  • Comfortable working within a comment automation strategy (ManyChat or similar)
  • Ability and confidence to be on camera
  • Self-directed and organized - you can own a content calendar without being micromanaged
  • Based in Southern California and available for occasional in-person shoots (within a ~50 mile radius of 91745)
  • Comfortability using AI when appropriate to help streamline, systemize, and increase efficiency
