PMO Analyst

PMO-A personnel operate as de facto deputy Program Managers and are critical to mission execution, particularly in environments with limited government staffing. The most effective individuals bring prior experience as program or project managers, demonstrate strong ownership and initiative, and proactively drive efforts forward with minimal oversight. Success in this role requires a forward-leaning mindset, the ability to think creatively, and the confidence to provide actionable recommendations to strengthen program outcomes. While technical expertise is valuable, the primary differentiator is a proactive, solutions-oriented attitude combined with strong organizational and communication skills.
Key Tasks:
• Experience with tracking, monitoring and updating status of program deliverables
• Experience with application of processes to ensure data currency, validity, and relevance
• Experience maintaining library of PMO documents, build a repository of project templates for both technical and management to support the Project Managers
• Experience supporting project, program and portfolio-level business process analysis, mapping, improvements, reporting, market research and internal outreach and communications
• Experience translating business processes into workflows and dashboards
• Experience updating and keeping current organizational IT lifecycle documentation and supporting materials pertaining to both Waterfall and Agile software development methodologies
• Engage in defining, developing and keeping current engineering (SDLC) and architecture artifacts and standard; providing oversight of Enterprise SDLC reviews, including change management to ensure compliance with standards and required guidance

The proposed salary range for this position in Maryland is 53,000 to 270,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
