Job description

The Sales Director โ€“ Performance Solutions opportunity is within our expanding InMobi DSP and Glance performance team in the Americas region, where we are transforming the digital advertising landscape through groundbreaking solutions.

We are looking for a trusted partner who can identify, engage, collaborate, strategize, and grow relationships with strategic advertisers and advertisers in the mobile app performance ecosystem.

This role is inโ€‘person and onโ€‘site in our San Mateo, CA office and is not open to remote locations. Some travel is required for client meetings and events as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Hunt: Identify, close, and develop relationships with targeted, strategic advertisers and independent agencies for App Performance and App Retargeting opportunities.
  • Farm: Develop and grow repeat business from existing customers, build strategic relationships, and execute longโ€‘term commercial contracts, drive QBRs, etc.
  • Partner: Liaise with other key AdTech players (MMPs, DMPs, Platforms) to work with the partnership team and drive larger partnership conversations to deliver more value for advertiser clients.
  • Engage: Attend industry events to represent InMobi with thought leadership on performance advertising and emerging trends such as SKAN.
  • Strategize: Work with product, product marketing, and external partners to drive innovation, referral programs, thought leadership initiatives, and internal process efficiencies.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with internal teams (product, engineering, business operations) to align resources and meet marketersโ€™ needs.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Must have experience selling demandโ€‘side solutions to large brands and advertisers directly across the advertising technology ecosystem.
  • Deep understanding of mobile app performance ecosystem (DSPs, MMPs, Native Media, KPIs, SKAN, etc.).
  • Deep experience selling into gaming studios, brands, and independent agencies across app performance ecosystems (verticalโ€‘agnostic).
  • Resultsโ€‘driven with a strategic relationshipโ€‘building approach.
  • High energy, selfโ€‘starter with an ambition to drive performance and impact (hustle mindset).
  • Proactive problemโ€‘solver (focus on solutions).
  • Experience on the delivery side of campaigns and operations to understand common challenges.
  • BA/BS degree required; MBA or masterโ€™s degree a plus.
Compensation & Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $130,000 to $180,000 USD (fixed) as applicable to our California and New York offices. Variable pay may include annual or quarterly sales incentives. Equity in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) may be offered. Compensation is determined based on role, experience, skills, and location.
