How you'll contribute
An Oracle EPM Architect Director who excels in this role:
  • Serve as the strategic owner and principal architect for Lifepoint's Oracle EPM Cloud ecosystem, supporting enterprise-wide financial systems and processes.
  • Administer and support Oracle EPM Cloud applications including FCCS, ARCS, EDMCS, Planning, and Freeform/Reporting environments.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, system performance, stability, and ongoing maintenance of Oracle EPM applications and related integrations.
  • Lead enterprise architecture initiatives related to budgeting, planning, financial close, reconciliations, reporting, and master data governance.
  • Partner closely with Finance, Accounting, and executive stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close and planning cycles, including after-hours support when needed.
  • Manage and maintain application metadata, hierarchies, dimensions, business rules, calculations, forms, and reporting artifacts.
  • Own Enterprise Data Management (EDMCS) governance strategy to ensure consistency across EPM and ERP platforms.
  • Monitor and support inbound and outbound integrations, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Provide Tier 3 technical support and serve as the escalation point for complex EPM-related issues.
  • Lead or support Oracle EPM Cloud implementation, optimization, and enhancement initiatives, including on-premises to cloud transformation efforts.
  • Coordinate with implementation partners and vendors, including oversight of active enterprise projects and solution delivery.
  • Develop and maintain reporting solutions utilizing Smart View, Financial Reporting, ad hoc reporting, and dashboard tools.
  • Ensure strong governance, audit readiness, SOX compliance, security controls, and separation of duties across EPM environments.
  • Manage user provisioning, role assignments, access controls, and environment security.
  • Drive process improvement, automation, and operational efficiencies across financial systems and reporting processes.
  • Stay current with Oracle monthly updates, emerging EPM capabilities, and industry best practices.
  • Potentially lead and mentor technical resources or developers supporting the EPM environment.
  • Serve as a proactive solution provider and trusted advisor to Finance and IT leadership.

What we're looking for
Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field required. Additional qualifications include:
Required Experience
  • 7-10+ years of hands-on Oracle EPM/Hyperion architecture, administration, and report development experience.
  • Strong techno-functional background with both technical architecture expertise and finance/accounting process knowledge.
  • Proven experience supporting Oracle EPM Cloud applications including:
    • FCCS
    • ARCS
    • EDMCS
    • Planning / EPBCS
    • Freeform / Reporting
  • Experience supporting financial consolidations, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, and close processes.
  • Experience with Oracle EPM Cloud implementations and/or migrations from on-premises Hyperion environments to cloud-based solutions.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise EPM architecture, governance, metadata management, and integration strategy.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-level planning and close cycles in complex, multi-entity organizations.
  • Proficiency with:
    • Business rules
    • Metadata management
    • Security administration
    • Data integrations
    • Smart View and reporting tools
  • Experience with REST APIs, EPM Automate, integrations, and automation frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of multidimensional database structures and financial systems architecture.
  • Experience troubleshooting performance, integration, and governance issues within EPM environments.
  • Ability to work independently and operate as a strategic problem solver within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including partnership with Finance leadership and senior business stakeholders.
  • Ability to support occasional after-hours and weekend work during close cycles, implementations, or critical support situations.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Oracle EPM Cloud Implementation Professional and/or Architect certifications preferred.
  • Experience working with Oracle ERP Cloud environments preferred.
  • Experience leading or mentoring technical teams or developers preferred.
  • Healthcare industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience working alongside external implementation partners or consulting firms preferred.
  • Knowledge of Groovy scripting, MDX, OCI integrations, and advanced automation capabilities preferred.

Travel Requirement: Minimal overnight travel, up to 10%, by land and/or air.
