Job Summary

As our ACH Operations Specialist, you'll play a key role in ensuring payments move accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional support to both our clients and internal teams. Every day brings something a little different from processing transactions and researching issues to helping implement new ACH services. Supervisory Responsibilities

This role does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.


Qualifications

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for all ACH-related operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of critical processes, including:
  • Daily ACH file processing and balancing 
  • Incoming ACH returns
  • New ACH Client setup and ongoing risk reviews
  • ACH dispute investigation, research, and resolution
  • Processing death notifications, reclamations, and ACH reversals in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to a culture of cross-training and collaboration, supporting other operations as needed.
  • Apply sound judgment and problem-solving skills to resolve both routine and complex inquiries.

Education & Experience

  • Banking operations or related financial services experience is preferred. Familiarity with ACH, payment processing, or deposit operation is a plus.  

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain processes clearly and professionally both in writing and verbally.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset with basic math proficiency, including percentages, ratios, and graphs.
  • Tech-savvy mindset with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new banking systems quickly.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and team-oriented, with a focus on shared goals in a fast-changing environment.

Salary: $50,000-$60,000 annually. 

The estimated hiring range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
