Overview

BerryDunn is seeking a collaborative and highly organized Resource Coordinator to join our Assurance, Tax, and Advisory (ATA) Services Support Team. In this role, you will play an important part in supporting our people and operations through new hire planning, onboarding, staff scheduling, and ongoing resource coordination initiatives.

As a key member of the team, you will help ensure new hires have a positive and seamless onboarding experience, from planning and orientation through their transition into their role. You will serve as a primary point of contact for ATA Team new hires, coordinating activities with hiring managers, practice groups, and support departments to ensure every detail is in place for a successful start.

In addition to onboarding responsibilities, you will support scheduling operations for our general staff population, maintain key resources and tools used across the ATA Team, and collaborate on a variety of projects that support our people and business operations.

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with professionals across the firm while contributing to impactful initiatives that enhance the employee experience and support operational excellence. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and enjoys managing multiple priorities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, a customer service mindset, and the ability to communicate confidently with individuals at all levels of the firm.

This position can be based in our Portland, ME, Bangor, ME, Manchester, NH, or Waltham, MA office and reports to the Director of ATAT Services Support. Responsibilities will be carried out with support from the Senior Resource Coordinator, Director of ATAT Services Support, and Assurance/Advisory Operations Manager.

Travel Expectations: This is a hybrid (both in office and WFH) position with limited travel, less than 10%.

You Will
  • Own and manage scheduling operations in ProStaff for general staff, serving as a subject matter expert and primary point of contact for scheduling needs, conflicts, and process improvements, with support from the Assurance/Advisory Operations Manager.
  • Prepare and maintain onboarding plan templates and resources and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Own and maintain reports, such as: ATAT full employee list, new hire/term count, and new hire/term list
  • Assist the Senior Resource Coordinator with:
    • Managing operational activities related to M&S subcontractors
    • Scheduling and participating in 8-week check-ins, and following up on action items and improvement initiatives
    • Annual time budget process
    • In-person trainings, helping plan and coordinate team building activities
  • Assist the ATA Services Support Team by:
    • Maintaining the ATATSS organizational chart
    • Coordinating employee spotlight communications
    • Support creation and maintenance of the training and events calendar
  • Oversee and maintain the ATAT InfoLink hub and other team resources.
  • Assist with data tracking and reporting requests for Practice Group Leaders and firm leadership.
  • Partner on resource coordination initiatives, process improvements, and other projects that support ATAT.
You Have
  • At least 2 years of experience in a professional office environment managing multiple priorities; experience supporting onboarding, employee orientation, scheduling, or resource coordination is preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines.
  • A collaborative mindset and desire to work as part of a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including comfort presenting and facilitating discussions with new hires and other groups.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach to work and problem solving.
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook; Microsoft 365 experience is a plus.
  • The ability to learn and adapt to new processes, systems, and technology.
  • Comfort working with individuals at all levels of the firm.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and willingness to take initiative to enhance processes and the employee experience.
Compensation Details

The base salary range targeted for this role is $62,000-$64,000. This salary range represents BerryDunn's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications more than the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply, and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
