General Description: This internship provides students with direct exposure to manufacturing operations, production support activities, work instruction development, safety initiatives, and
training coordination within a dynamic LSR injection molding manufacturing environment.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
? Create and update production work instructions.
? Support safety initiatives and training documentation.
? Assist with production reporting and operational organization.
? Analyze production performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
? Support KPI development, reporting, and performance tracking initiatives.
? Assist with operational performance reviews and continuous improvement projects.
? Collaborate with Production Leadership to evaluate productivity, quality, and efficiency
metrics.
? Help develop safety and training matrices.
? Support manufacturing process improvements.
? Collaborate with supervisors and production personnel.
? Assist with operational efficiency initiatives.
? Participate in shop floor improvement projects.
? Identify non-conforming products or processes during inspections and ensure that proper
containment actions are taken.
? Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for quality issues and implement corrective and
preventive actions (CAPA) in collaboration with the production, engineering, and quality
teams.
? Document non-conformance reports (NCRs), track quality issues, and provide feedback
to relevant teams on trends and recurring problems.
