We are seeking a highly creative, organized, and technically skilledVideo Producer - Editorto help tell stories that point people to Jesus Christ.

This role is ideal for a visual storyteller who can take a project from concept to final delivery-brainstorming ideas, pitching creative concepts, producing shoots, editing with excellence, and creating compelling video content for worship services, ministry campaigns, events, digital platforms, and churchwide communications.

The right candidate will bring strong creative instincts, excellent production skills, a collaborative spirit, and a heart for using video to share the gospel with clarity, beauty, and impact.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Produce and edit weekly video content for Sunday morning worship services.
  • Create compelling video and motion graphic content for worship services, ministry events, churchwide initiatives, digital platforms, and promotional campaigns.
  • Manage video projects from concept to completion, including creative development, production planning, shooting, editing, color correction, audio, graphics, and final delivery.
  • Participate actively in brainstorming sessions, pitch creative video ideas, and help shape concepts that communicate clearly and emotionally.
  • Capture ministry b-roll, interviews, testimonies, event footage, and story-driven content that reflects what God is doing through First Baptist Dallas.
  • Lead and manage video shoots, including scheduling, shot planning, equipment setup, lighting, camera operation, audio capture for studio and on-location projects.
  • Keep organized project files, media assets, footage libraries, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Video Production, Communications team, ministry leaders, and other creative contributors to ensure videos align with the church's mission, voice, and standards of excellence.
  • Stay current on video production trends, storytelling techniques, social media formats, editing tools, and creative best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Video Production.

Professional & Education (Certifications or Licenses)

  • Highly creative visual storyteller with the ability to develop, pitch, and execute compelling video concepts.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or 3+ years of experience in video production, video editing, or a closely related creative production role.
  • Strong portfolio or demo reel demonstrating storytelling, shooting, editing, motion graphics, and production ability.
  • Proven ability to manage video projects from concept to final delivery, including planning, shooting, editing, revisions, and deadlines.
  • Advanced post-production skills, including audio editing, graphics, color correction, compositing, and finishing.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
  • Experience with DaVinci Resolve.
  • Experience operating mirrorless and professional cinema cameras.
  • Ability to set up lighting, camera, and audio for studio and on-location productions.
  • Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and project management skills.
  • Self-starter who works well independently, collaborates effectively with a team, receives feedback well, and remains calm in fast-paced ministry and event environments.
