Job Description:

Under the supervision of the Dean of Admission, the Director of Systems & Operations oversees the development, execution, support, and evaluation of a robust and comprehensive CRM system, working with senior enrollment
leadership and colleagues across campus to help them effectively utilize technology within their respective areas of responsibility. The Director focuses the department on innovation, efficiency, and industry-leading technology practices, ensuring the infrastructure and service quality needed for smooth management of the overall admission operation, which receives roughly 6,000 applications annually and operates first year, transfer, and Frances Perkins admission processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the Slate Captain and primary CRM subject matter expert, overseeing system administration, workflows, user access, and project implementation.
  • Act as the Office of Admission's data steward, managing data governance and collaborating with vendors, campus partners, and admission staff.
  • Represent Admission on Workday CRM and ERP integration initiatives, ensuring departmental needs are prioritized and supporting future platform integrations.
  • Develop business continuity protocols to ensure operational resilience and data integrity.
  • Monitor industry trends and implement strategies that enhance admission systems, operations, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Develop, implement, and review policies and procedures that support departmental goals and continuous improvement.
  • Lead systems and operations functions to ensure efficient, integrated processes across the department.
  • Recruit, supervise, coach, and evaluate staff while fostering professional development and high-quality service.
  • Promote communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing across the department.
  • Use data analytics and visualization tools to assess performance, support reporting, and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Represent the Office of Admission on institutional committees and data governance initiatives, serving as a key cross-functional partner.

SKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE/ CERTIFICATIONS:
1. Required

  • Bachelor's degree; a minimum of 7 years of experience in admission or a related field.
  • Ability to work collegially with a diverse group of students, faculty, staff, and visitors on a daily basis.
  • Superior oral, analytic, and written communication skills; effective public speaking; an ability to engage with large audiences of prospective students, families, and college counselors.
  • Deep experience with and knowledge of Technolutions Slate CRM.
  • Expert competency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to use data to make strategic decisions.
  • An understanding of the liberal arts and an ability to communicate its value in a gender-diverse women's college context clearly, cogently, and confidently.
  • Sense of humor and ability to remain flexible and nimble in carrying out multiple projects and tasks.


2. Preferred

  • Master's degree; 10 years of experience in technology management, admission, or enrollment management with progressively increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Experience working in a selective college/university admission environment.
  • Knowledge about and passion for women's colleges and gender-affirming communities.
