Vice President of Store Operations

This is a rare opportunity for a hands-on retail operations executive who wants to build, not simply inherit. We are partnering with a rapidly growing specialty retail organization that is expanding its footprint and looking for a proven operator to create the processes, leadership structure, and operational discipline needed for its next stage of growth.

The ideal candidate has helped scale a regional, specialty, founder-led, or emerging retail organization and knows what it takes to grow without losing the culture, customer experience, and entrepreneurial energy that made the business successful.

Vice President of Store Operations Requirements & Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of progressive multi-unit retail operations leadership experience
  • Experience leading operations within a small to mid-sized, regional, specialty, emerging, or high-growth retail organization
  • Experience supporting a growing retail footprint, ideally within an organization of approximately 10100 locations
  • Proven success building operational processes, systems, KPIs, and accountability structures
  • Direct accountability for multi-unit store performance, profitability, talent, and customer experience
  • Strong P&L management and financial acumen
  • Demonstrated ability to develop Store Managers, General Managers, District Managers, Regional Leaders, or similar field leadership
  • Experience supporting new store openings and geographic expansion
  • Comfortable operating within a founder-led, entrepreneurial, or rapidly evolving organization
  • Ability to balance executive-level strategy with hands-on operational execution
  • Willingness to travel and remain closely connected to stores and field leadership
