TITLE: Software Development Engineering - Advisor
EMPLOYER: Fiserv Solutions, LLC
LOCATION: Milwaukee, WI (and various unanticipated locations throughout the US subject to authorization from management)
DUTIES: Conduct requirement gathering sessions, provide architectural blueprints and make modifications to the agreed upon specifications to set the strategic direction for fraud service software applications. Utilize coding standards to develop low latency, high frequency transaction processing applications. Develop asynchronous message applications while maximizing reuse of developed components. Represent the business technology team in discussions with other development teams to determine the impact of in-flight projects on the organization. Work with these teams to leverage project deliveries across all development teams. Complete security scans, support PII data masking, and review data encryption processes before deploying software into production environment. Proactively design programmatic software solutions that will recognize, alert, and heal the underlying technology framework.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology Management or a related field and 4 years in any job title involving Java programming and service-oriented architecture experience. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology Management or a related field and 2 years in any job title involving Java programming and service-oriented architecture experience. Prior experience must include: 2 years of software development using Java, RESTful APIs, Kafka, MQ, Concurrency Patterns and Maven; 2 years of software design using Spring Boot, Microservice Architecture, and Pivotal Cloud Foundry; 2 years working with JDBC, JSON, and XML; and 2 years working with AWS EC2, Snowflake, and Azure.
