Director of Operations โ€“ Parts & Service


Location: St. Paul/Minneapolis, MN OR Chicagoland OR St. Louis


Lead. Transform. Grow.

We're partnering with an established industry leader seeking a Director of Operations to oversee Parts & Service operations across six branch locations. This executive leadership role is ideal for a mechanically inclined, hands-on leader with a proven track record of driving change management, developing high-performing teams, and improving multi-site service operations.


What You'll Do

  • Lead Parts & Service operations across six branch locations
  • Drive operational excellence, profitability, safety, and customer satisfaction
  • Champion change management initiatives that improve processes, service performance, and operational consistency
  • Coach and develop branch leaders while building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • Own P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI performance
  • Partner with commercial teams to support business growth and customer retention
  • Travel up to 50% to support branch operations and leadership teams


What We're Looking For

  • Multi-site operations leadership experience within a service, dealership, fleet, heavy equipment, industrial, or similar environment
  • Mechanically inclined with a strong understanding of service operations, equipment, and maintenance workflows
  • Demonstrated success leading organizational change, improving operational performance and implementing scalable processes
  • Strong financial acumen with P&L responsibility
  • Experience with ERP, CRM, or dealership management systems (CDK is a plus)
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA is a plus
