Le directeur commercial – Manutention fournit un leadership commercial et des conseils aux équipes de ventes opérationnelles sous la forme d'une expertise de l'industrie et des produits, de techniques de vente et est en contact permanent avec les équipes de ventes.  Il est responsable de la performance des ventes et de la part de marché, de la croissance tout en maintenant l'alignement avec la stratégie commerciale de Brandt.

Tâches et responsabilités

  • Atteindre les objectifs de part de marché convenus pour le succès à long terme de nos partenaires fabricants et de l'entreprise.
  • Être le principal point de contact de nos activités de manutention pour les fournisseurs et entretenir des relations avec chacun d'entre eux.
  • Fournir au fournisseur des informations et des renseignements sur le marché afin d'accroître notre compétitivité dans la zone de responsabilité (ZRD).
  • Gérer les demandes d'information des fournisseurs, les plans d'affaires, etc.
  • Développer de nouvelles possibilités pour les fournisseurs et contribuer à l'expansion de nos ZRD actuelles avec chacun d'entre eux.
  • Atteindre les objectifs de gestion des actifs en termes de rotation et de réduction du vieillissement, ainsi que de protection des actifs de l'entreprise, y compris les stocks de marchandises complètes neuves et usagées.
  • Contribuer à l'élaboration de codes de construction normalisés pour les produits en stock.
  • Fournir des informations et des prévisions détaillées sur les niveaux de stock afin d'atteindre les objectifs de vente et de part de marché.
  • Fournir un retour d'information et des commentaires sur les occasions et les pressions concurrentielles futures
  • Assister et évaluer les devis, les prix et les offres de la concurrence afin d'obtenir des informations sur le marché, d'augmenter les parts et les marges dans la ZRD.
  • Développer et exécuter des programmes de vente et de marketing efficaces pour le segment de la manutention.
  • Se déplacer et interagir régulièrement avec les gestionnaires de territoire et les clients de Brandt, en leur fournissant des conseils sur la stratégie de vente, les caractéristiques des produits et les tactiques de vente afin de relever les défis.
  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les succursales afin d'aider au développement des employés au sein de la ZRD dans le but de constituer une équipe compétente, motivée et performante, axée sur la réussite à long terme de l'entreprise et du client.
  • Gérer de manière proactive les tâches, les missions et les dépenses.
  • Favoriser la croissance des ventes et développer de nouvelles occasions dans la ZRD définie.
  • Travailler en collaboration avec les équipes de vente des succursales pour établir des relations avec tous les clients potentiels, développer une stratégie de vente à plusieurs niveaux, des organigrammes de clients et comprendre les défis et occasions uniques du marché.
  • Améliorer la connaissance des stratégies d'achat des comptes nationaux, du processus budgétaire pluriannuel et des tendances du marché. 
  • Assister à des événements industriels, participer activement à la promotion de toutes les divisions de Brandt.
  • Réaliser d’autres projets, selon les besoins.
  • Posséder et conserver un passeport valide et être disponible pour des voyages internationaux, de nombreux voyages sont nécessaires.
  • Il est essentiel d'être présent en permanence sur tous les sites d'exploitation physique de la ZDR de Brandt.  Un minimum de 125 jours doit être consacré aux déplacements sur les sites d'exploitation.

Brandt is currently looking for a Director of Sales - Material Handling located in our Brossard location. This position provides Sales Leadership and guidance to the Operational Sales teams in the form of Industry and Product expertise, Sales techniques, and is in constant contact with the Manufacturing Sales teams.  This role is accountable for Sales and Market Share performance, growth while maintaining alignment with Brandt’s business strategy.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Achieve market share goals as agreed to for the long-term success of our manufacturer partners and the company.
  • Be the Primary point of contact for Suppliers to our Material Handling business and own the relationship with each of them.
  • Provide market intelligence and information to the Supplier to increase our competitiveness in the Area of Responsibility (AOR).
  • Manage Supplier requests for information, Business Plans, etc.
  • Develop new supplier opportunities and assist in the expansion of our existing AOR’s with each.
  • Achieve asset management goals of turn and minimize aging, as well as protection of company assets, including new and used whole goods inventory.
  • Provide input on standardized build codes for inventory products.
  • Provide detailed feedback and forecasts for inventory levels to achieve sales and market share goals.
  • Provide feedback and input into future opportunities and competitive pressures.
  • Assist and evaluate competitive quotes, pricing, and offers to drive market intelligence, increase share and margins across the AOR.
  • Develop & execute effective sales and marketing programs for the Material Handling segment.
  • Travel and personally interact with Brandt Territory Managers and Customers regularly – providing mentorship and guidance on Sales Strategy, Product FAB’s, and sales tactics to address challenges.
  • Work closely with the Branches to assist in development of employees within the AOR with the goal of building a knowledgeable, motivated, and successful team focused on long-term success for the company and customer.
  • Proactively manage duties, assignments, and expenses.
  • Drive sales growth and develop new opportunities in the defined AOR.
  • Work in conjunction with Branch Sales teams to build relationships with all potential customers, develop multi-level sales strategy, customer organization charts and understand unique market challenges/opportunities.
  • Increase knowledge of National Account purchasing strategies, multi-year budgeting process and market trends 
  • Attendance at Industry events, active participation and promotion of all Divisions of Brandt.
  • Other projects as assigned.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid passport and be available for international travel; extensive travel is required.
  • Ongoing presence at all physical operating locations with the prescribed AOR of Brandt is critical.  A minimum of 125 days must be spent travelling throughout the operating locations.
