Job description

Location: Montreal (Hybrid โ€“ 1โ€“2 days on-site, 3 days remote)

Type: Contract

Rate: $80/hr โ€“ $85/hr

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior, Bilingual (EN/FR) Project Manager to step into a complex, fast-moving workstream mid-flight within a large post-merger integration program in the Financial Services sector. This is a high-visibility contract role for a seasoned PM who can hit the ground running, influence at the C-suite level, and bring structure and momentum to a demanding, dynamic environment.

If you're an adaptable leader โ€” a strong listener, influencer, negotiator, and facilitator with superior communication skills โ€” we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Own the workstream plan, tracking, and reporting; lean into key ad-hoc deliverables as priorities shift.
  • Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle โ€” scoping, resource assignment, planning, tracking, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain key project artifacts: project plan, RAID log, issue/action logs, risk management, communication plan, and status reports.
  • Facilitate project team and steering committee discussions, influencing stakeholders at all levels โ€” including firm leadership and C-suite.
  • Coordinate and manage activities across the broader program, driving results across cross-functional teams without direct reporting authority.
  • Maintain the PMO library and lessons-learned database, applying insights to strengthen delivery.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement through templates, procedures, and process enhancements.

What You Bring

Must-haves:

  • 7+ years of project management experience delivering complex project solutions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodology.
  • Expert-level MS Suite, including Microsoft Project.
  • Intermediate Google Suite proficiency.
  • Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills, including experience engaging firm leadership and C-suite audiences.
  • Bilingual โ€” English & French (oral and written).

Nice-to-haves:

  • RPA / UiPath experience.
  • Reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Experience with Workday and/or Salesforce.
  • Project Management designation (e.g., PMP) โ€” an asset, but not required.

What Sets You Apart

  • Strong business acumen and experience on business-driven initiatives.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high bar for quality, compliance, and accuracy.
  • Ability to anticipate stakeholder reactions and navigate them with sensitivity and directness.
  • A self-starter who thrives with minimal supervision, sets priorities, and consistently meets deadlines.
  • Strong relationship-builder, internally and externally, grounded in ethical, values-aligned behaviour.
