We are seeking an experienced Director of Sales to lead, coach, and develop our sales team while driving new business growth throughout the Central Kentucky market. This role requires a hands-on leader who is comfortable in the field, actively involved in coaching and prospecting, and committed to holding both themselves and their team accountable to performance standards.

At City Wide, we believe in continuous improvement and a growth mindset. We are looking for someone who understands that just because you won last quarter doesn't mean you can afford to lose the next.

Sales Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, train, motivate, and manage all members of the sales team to achieve weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual growth goals.
  • Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop high-performing sales professionals.
  • Maintain a strong presence in the field by conducting ride-alongs, prospect visits, coaching sessions, and sales training.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, quarterly reviews, and annual performance assessments.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.

Sales Performance & Strategy

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve new business revenue targets.
  • Establish sales quotas, activity expectations, and performance metrics.
  • Personally contribute to new business development and sales growth initiatives.
  • Analyze pipeline performance, forecasting, and sales activity to drive results.
  • Remove obstacles and provide the resources necessary for team success.

Operational Excellence

  • Manage and maintain our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of sales processes, policies, and best practices.
  • Assist with annual contract renewals and strategic account growth initiatives.
  • Evaluate training programs, sales materials, and operational procedures for continuous improvement.
  • Research industry trends, networking opportunities, and innovative sales practices to strengthen organizational growth.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Experience working within a CRM platform and utilizing performance metrics to drive decision-making.
  • Professional presence with strong consultative selling skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software such as Salesforce, Dynamics, or similar platforms.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the Central Kentucky market, including occasional overnight travel.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Successful completion of a behavioral assessment, background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screen.
