Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals and families? Horizons, A Family Service Alliance is seeking a committed and energetic Full Time Director of Development to advance our mission and secure resources for our programs and services.
About Us
For 65 years, Horizons has been dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families across Eastern Iowa through programs including Transportation, the Financial Wellness Center, and Meals on Wheels.
What You'll Do
As the Director of Development, you will develop and implement fundraising strategies, cultivate donor relationships, and oversee grant applications and reporting. You'll collaborate with the leadership team to set fundraising goals and create innovative ways to engage the community in our mission.
Your schedule is primarily Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional evening and weekend hours for events and donor meetings.
Allocation of time:
Donor Pipeline- 50%
Staffing & Administration- 25%
Communication & Public Relations- 25%
