This is a remote position.

Summary: The Workforce Group, a LEMOINE company, is seeking a Training Coordinator to support a federal human services program serving vulnerable populations, including youth, young adults, and families. Reporting to the Training Manager, the Training Coordinator provides the administrative and logistical backbone of the program's training operation. This role supports the Training Manager in delivering onboarding, mandatory, role-based, and refresher training across all program teams. This position requires strong administrative and coordination skills, excellent record keeping and attention to detail, confidentiality, responsiveness, and the ability to work across field operations, onboarding, quality assurance, data and reporting, and program leadership teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Location: Remote

Travel: Limited travel may be required for training, meetings, surge support, or operational coverage.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and coordinate training sessions and the master training calendar, including session logistics, virtual meeting setup, instructor coordination, enrollment, and attendance tracking, aligned with onboarding cohorts, field deployment schedules, and surge activity.
  • Track training completions, certifications, and annual refresher due dates for all program staff, maintain the training certificate log and completion evidence files, and escalate overdue or incomplete items to the Training Manager.
  • Maintain organized, audit-ready training records, rosters, sign-in sheets, assessment results, and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare, format, distribute, and version-control training materials, job aids, presentations, and course packets under the direction of the Training Manager.
  • Send enrollment notices, reminders, prerequisite instructions, and follow-up communications to staff and supervisors.
  • Administer and maintain records within learning management or training tracking systems, including enrollments, completions, and reporting.

  • Ensure sensitive participant, program, and Government-related information is protected and handled appropriately.
  • Participate in operational briefings, staff meetings, training sessions, and continious-improvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associates or bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, human resources, business administration, human services, or a related field highly preferred. Minimum of two years of experience in training coordination, training administration, learning and development support, program administration, human resources support, or related administrative work preferred.
  • Experience supporting federal, state, or local government programs is highly preferred.
  • Experience supporting human services, vulnerable populations, youth, young adults, families, immigrant communities, or field-based operations.
  • Experience supporting onboarding programs, new-hire cohorts, or high volume training operations, including preparing or formatting training materials, presentations, or job aids.
  • Experience scheduling sessions, managing calendars, tracking completions, or maintaining detailed records for multiple teams or cohorts.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple simultaneous schedules, rosters, and deadlines while maintaining accurate, complete, audit ready records.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional correspondence with staff and supervisor.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, professional boundaries, and ethical standards at all times.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, email, shared trackers, and electronic documentation systems, and the ability to learn approved learning management, training tracking or reporting tools.
  • Ability to complete required federal, client, and company training before beginning work.
  • Ability to complete required pre-employment screening and federal background/suitability processing.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is highly preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Work Environment and Schedule: This position is primarily remote/or operations hub-based and requires regular use of computers, secure systems, phones, email, spreadsheets, and electronic documentation tools. The role supports deadline-driven operations and requires accuracy, confidentiality, responsiveness, and consistent communication with multiple teams. The schedule may vary based on operational needs, case volume, quality review requirements, reporting deadlines, and surge activity. Evening, weekends, holiday, extended-hour, or surge support may be required. Limited travel may be required for training, audits, meetings, or operational coverage.

Federal Contract Requirements: Employment is contingent upon successful completion of all pre-employment screening requirements, including background checks, drug screening, motor vehicle records review, reference checks and other job-related screening requirements. Employment is also contingent upon successful completion of required federal background/suitability review, favorable credit check, security processing, and program-specific onboarding before beginning work.
