Job Summary:
The Director of Nursing will lead our medical care programs to meet the diverse needs of our residents with compassion and excellence. You'll oversee operations, manage staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster positive relationships within the community. The Director of Nursing provides a vital link between all internal and external personnel involved in the medical care and treatment for the individuals served and is an important part of the Regional Leadership Team.
Starting Salary: $93,600
Responsibilities:
  • Develop policies and procedures aligned with our mission and values.
  • Manage daily operations of the Nursing Department, including staffing and communication.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate resident medical treatment programs.
  • Supervise and develop nursing personnel, ensuring high-quality care.
  • Coordinate external medical care and diagnostic services for residents.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.
  • Review and maintain accurate medical documentation and reports.
  • Collaborate with the Leadership Team and represent the facility as needed.
  • Assist with other duties, participate in committees, and assist with emergency operations as necessary.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing and Ohio State Board of Nursing licensure required. BSN preferred.
  • Prior experience in the Developmental Disability field or related field.
  • Management experience in a nursing leadership role required.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications required.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations for IDD individuals and healthcare facilities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work professionally and compassionately with individuals with disabilities.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license, insurable drivers record according to the Echoing Hills Village insurance carriers, and have reliable transportation to travel for business meetings, community meetings, training events, vendors, and suppliers, etc.
  • A demonstrated Christian background and a demonstrated ability to fulfill the mission and purpose of the Ministry.
