Job description


About the Role:
Midmark is seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead a high-performing Veterinary sales team responsible for driving profitable growth, developing talent, and strengthening customer and distributor relationships across the Southeast region.
Reporting to the Vice President of Veterinary Sales, this role combines strategic leadership with hands-on coaching to develop a winning sales culture built around Challenger selling, commercial excellence, and customer partnership. You'll lead a team, collaborate cross-functionally, and help shape the future direction of Midmark's Veterinary business.
What You'll Do:
  • Leads Region capabilities with Challenger sales methodology
  • Support net sales goals with key performance indicators that strengthen product mix and profitability.
  • Direct business forecasting and asset management establishing long-range objectives.
  • Build relationships within region and division networks including channel and customers.
  • Act as lead liaison between regional partners and regional networks.
  • Collaborate with Senior Sales Leadership team to develop and implement Sales Programs.
  • Perform quarterly sales reviews within the region to inspect objectives that support goal attainment.
  • Manage pipeline through Salesforce CRM.
  • Analyze and communicate from a field perspective back to Midmark all changes in market conditions and competitive landscape.
  • Set sales targets, consignment, giveaways and expense budgets for the team.
  • Develop and nurture strategic relationships with stakeholders inside large end-user customers, buying groups, and channel.

What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of successful sales experience.
  • Previous sales leadership experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to inspire and develop high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong leadership and coaching capability.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Financial acumen and business planning skills.
  • Experience managing sales performance through KPIs and forecasting.
  • Ability to build strong relationships across customers, distributors, and internal business partners.
  • Experience working within a mission-driven organization preferred.
