ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure that safety is always the number one priority at Alexandria Industries; promote and support a safe work environment and safety oriented culture by following all safety programs and guidelines
  • Exhibit active leadership in order to model and support the company's values, vision and strategies
  • Analyze campaign performance, lead generation effectiveness, website traffic, and customer engagement metrics.
  • Provide support to Senior Leadership, Director of Business development and commercial department team members:
  • Economic issues, Market trends and customer behavior related to our business
  • Develop and execute lead generation strategies to support profitable sales growth
  • Present research tables, trends, graphs, forecasts on markets and the economy
  • Evaluate various economic policies and regulations that impact our business opportunities
  • Owns website performance, user experience, SEO, and content
  • Ensure accurate tracking of leads, campaign performance and customer interactions
  • Manage all internal and external communications efforts (social media, digital signage)
  • Seek, assist and support the development of opportunities to build a positive corporate reputation; corporate stewardship, community involvement efforts, social responsibility initiatives, etc.
  • Partner with Sales to improve lead quality and lead-to-customer
  • Develop innovative marketing campaign ideas and support them from implementation to completion
  • Create and/or coordinate the production of multimedia and use where valuable (videos, photography)
  • Lead the planning and execution of the customer leadership events when/if held
  • Identify and monitor competitors and understand their core competencies
  • Coordinate/Attend trade show events to help pitch Alexandria Industries to key prospects
  • Review and analyze department data and trends to make continuous improvement recommendations
  • Prepare and share marketing information with board of directors and executives as requested
  • Develop and produce company literature; collateral, press releases, letters, prospect and customer correspondence, customer success stories, bylines, white papers, articles, fact sheets, backgrounds, executive biographies, etc.
  • Create communication pieces as needed (customer/employee newsletters, postings, )
  • Guide and support customer satisfaction surveys through analysis and strategy
  • Identify and implement methods for reducing costs and expenses in the department
  • Respond to emergency situations during and after standard hours to resolve issues that may arise
  • Develop and implement department goals and key measures that align with the mission, vision and values of the organization

OTHER JOB DUTIES (Not considered essential to the job)
Perform all other related assignments (including special projects) as required in a professional and cooperative manner.
Work with the Director of Business Development to manage the department's expense budget and monitor to budget.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Public or Media Relations Experience:
  • 4+ years of progressive marketing related experience
  • B2B manufacturing experience

Other required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite)
  • Strong formatting and editing skills (Canva and Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, InDesign, Acrobat Pro)
  • Exceptional public relations skills
  • Self-directed, able to take initiative and exercise independent judgment
  • Ability to create, foster and grow business relationships with leadership and team members
  • Must be a highly organized and self-motivated individual able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

The anticipated pay range for this position is $75,000 - $105,000 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job- related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
