A respected restaurant group is seeking a seasoned operations leader to oversee multiple locations. This is a pivotal opportunity to drive operational excellence, profitability, and guest satisfaction while shaping the growth and leadership culture of the organization.

Director of Operations Requirements & Qualifications
  • Minimum 4โ€“5+ years of proven McDonaldโ€™s multi-unit leadership experience
  • Significant tenure operating within the McDonaldโ€™s system at an organizational scale
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple restaurants and sizable leadership teams
  • Strong command of P&L performance, labor management, food cost control, staffing, guest experience, and company standards
  • Deep understanding of McDonaldโ€™s systems, corporate expectations, and operating standards
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills across all levels, including leadership, ownership, and partners
  • High personal accountability and strong sense of ownership for performance results
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making in complex people and operational matters
  • Complete transparency with ownership, providing clear context and actionable recommendations
  • Ability to operate independently and solve challenges proactively
  • Track record of developing managers, multi-unit leaders, and future organizational talent
Director of Operations Preferred Background & Skills
  • Hamburger University certification preferred
  • Previous experience at the General Manager, Area Supervisor, or Director level within the McDonaldโ€™s system
Director of Operations Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to Restaurant General Managers across multiple locations
  • Analyze P&L statements, sales trends, and key financial metrics to drive profitable performance
  • Develop and execute business plans to achieve operational and financial goals
  • Coach and mentor managers, building a pipeline of future leaders
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety, cleanliness, service, and operational standards
  • Conduct regular site visits, operational reviews, and performance evaluations
  • Partner with ownership on strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Support recruiting, retention, and talent development initiatives
  • Promote a positive culture focused on guest satisfaction and team engagement
