Location: St Jo Frontier Casino – St. Joseph, MO

We are seeking a Director of Marketing to lead our property’s marketing efforts. This role manages the marketing department, develops and directs all marketing programs, and ensures both marketing and financial goals are met. The Director of Marketing creates and executes sales strategies, campaigns, media plans, promotions, and advertising initiatives that keep our property competitive and engaging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and expand the overall marketing plan within budget.
  • Direct all marketing activities, including advertising, database marketing, promotions, and player development.
  • Collaborate with property leadership to drive best practices and foster new and repeat business.
  • Monitor competition and adjust strategies to maintain a strong market position.
  • Analyze promotion results and market research, making data-driven recommendations.
  • Oversee and develop marketing staff, including Casino Hosts.
  • Manage department policies, procedures, and compliance with internal controls.
  • Lead monthly calendars of promotions and events, securing approvals as required.
  • Prepare reports and trend analyses, offering recommendations to the General Manager and Corporate Marketing.
  • Ensure compliance with Missouri Gaming Commission regulations and all applicable laws.
  • Work weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven leadership in marketing management preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Missouri Gaming License.
