Description
The Director of Intramurals selects and promotes the activities and administers that program efficiently, and integrates the work of the program with that of the entire school.
Description of Essential Functions (critical tasks)
1. Arranging dates for events.
2. Preparing an intramural budget for the coming year.
3. Preparing all equipment and facilities needed for all events.
4. Issuing advance publicity of events.
5. Creating and assigning game and practice schedules.
6. Meeting with student officials and reviewing playing rules with all participants.
7. Determining eligibility and checking on all injuries.
8. Assigning officials and examining all score sheets following games.
9. Being present, or having a responsible person present at all activities.
10. Making certain that locker rooms have been cleaned before locking in.
11. Tabulating results and keeping league standings.
12. Acquiring and distributing awards.
