WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a Director of Interior Design, North America to lead our Interior Design group focused on interior environments across our experiential sports portfolio.
This is a hands-on design leadership role responsible for elevating the quality, craft, and execution of interior design across the experiential studio, as well as growing and developing talent. You will lead by doing-shaping concepts, guiding teams, and ensuring every space we design is both beautiful and buildable.
You are a designer with exceptional taste and technical depth-someone who cares as much about materials, details, and spatial flow as you do about big ideas.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creative & Design Leadership
  • Serve as the design authority for interior environments, setting the standard for quality and craft
  • Lead and shape design direction on key projects from concept through execution
  • Elevate the studio's output in materiality, detailing, and spatial storytelling
  • Partner closely with Creative Directors to shape cohesive, narrative-driven environments, ensuring every element, from material selection to brand activation, contributes to a unified experience.
  • Remain hands-on in design-contributing at critical moments across projects

Project & Delivery Leadership
  • Oversee interior design execution from concept through design development and documentation
  • Ensure design intent is maintained through to fabrication and installation
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and fabricators to ensure designs are functional and buildable
  • Lead design reviews and uphold quality across all deliverables

Team Leadership & Development
  • Help build a team of world-class designers in collaboration with leadership
  • Manage, mentor and develop designers with a focus on craft, critical thinking, and design excellence
  • Lead design critiques and conduct performance reviews that are rigorous, constructive, and inspiring
  • Help elevate team capabilities, standards, and design culture
  • Hire and onboard new team members

Design Excellence & Innovation
  • Champion a culture of design excellence, curiosity, and continuous improvement
  • Introduce new ideas in materials, sustainability, and experiential environments
  • Stay at the forefront of interior and environmental design trends
  • Raise the bar for how we translate brand into physical space

Client Collaboration
  • Present design concepts and articulate decisions with clarity and confidence
  • Build trust with clients through strong design rationale and thoughtful execution

QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in interior design, experiential design, or architecture
  • Proven experience delivering high-design, detail-driven interior environments
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating built work, materiality, and spatial thinking

Skills
  • Exceptional design sensibility with a refined eye for detail, proportion, and materiality
  • Deep expertise in spatial planning, interior systems, and environmental design
  • Management / Leadership of small to medium-sized teams
  • Proficiency in tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong understanding of materials and finishes, FFE, specifying, sourcing and documenting
  • Excellent storytelling, presentation, and communication skills

EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Environmental Design, or related field
