Body Balance Physical Therapy is seeking a compassionate and skilled full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to enhance the quality of care provided to our patients in Reno, Nevada. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in guiding individuals through their rehabilitation journeys, utilizing evidence-based practices to restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve functional outcomes. Body Balance Physical Therapy is a dedicated practice owned by licensed physical therapists, specializing in the treatment of orthopedic conditions. Our modern facility spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with state-of-the-art sports medicine technology, allowing us to offer a comprehensive range of treatment options. We predominantly cater to patients with private insurance and pride ourselves on delivering individualized and effective care tailored to each person's needs.

This position is an onsite role based in our comfortable and advanced treatment facility in Reno, Nevada. The practice prioritizes a collaborative work environment where physical therapists and physical therapy assistants work together closely to provide the best support for our patients. You will engage with patients in a personalized setting, ensuring they receive the focused attention and treatment strategies pertinent to their recovery.

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' functional abilities and needs to develop tailored treatment plans aimed at achieving their specific goals.
• Manage a manageable caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring each individual receives the focused attention necessary for optimal recovery.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain and restore function, applying your expertise in a hands-on manner.
• Choose appropriate modalities and therapeutic exercises that will best enhance the patient's range of motion, strength, and mobility.
• Educate patients on the importance of their active participation in the healing process, including home exercise strategies and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain clear, accurate records of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes to ensure effective communication and continuity of care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the facility to provide comprehensive care and ensure interdisciplinary communication regarding patient progress.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatments to maximize their commitment and adherence to prescribed rehab protocols.

Our patient demographic primarily consists of individuals undergoing rehabilitation from orthopedic surgeries, athletic injuries, and chronic pain conditions. We focus on providing high-quality, personalized care that emphasizes recovery and prevention. Your role will directly influence their experience and outcomes, ensuring they regain their independence and confidence in movement.

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid physical therapist license in the state of Nevada.
• Minimum of one year of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is necessary.
• Proficiency in manual therapy and therapeutic exercise prescription is essential.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR), particularly with systems such as WebPT, is highly valued.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license.

• An established background in developing and implementing patient-centered fitness and rehabilitation programs.
• Experience in addressing diverse patient needs with challenging cases, demonstrating adaptability and innovation in treatment approaches.
