Position Overview

Body Balance Physical Therapy is actively seeking a highly motivated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in North Las Vegas, Nevada. As a full-time member of our orthopedic outpatient practice, you will play a pivotal role in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journeys. About the Organization

Body Balance Physical Therapy is a dedicated outpatient physical therapy clinic, distinguished by our focus on orthopedic care. Our facility, covering an impressive 5,000 square feet, is equipped with state-of-the-art sports medicine resources, allowing our team to deliver exceptional patient care. We pride ourselves on being a privately-owned practice, predominantly serving patients with private medical insurance. Our team comprises experienced professionals including two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), fostering a collaborative environment focused on patient-centered care.

Work Environment

The role is primarily onsite in our well-equipped outpatient office located in North Las Vegas, providing a vibrant, patient-friendly atmosphere that enhances the care experience. The practice operates with a schedule of Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while also meeting the needs of a growing patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address the specific goals and requirements of each patient.
• Manage a patient caseload efficiently, typically seeing one patient per hour, ensuring focused and effective therapy sessions.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols to optimize patient recovery and restore mobility.
• Educate patients on treatment options and alternatives to medications and surgical procedures, promoting healthier lifestyle choices.
• Create comprehensive care plans that may integrate modalities such as therapeutic exercises, modalities, and patient education.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their treatment journeys, helping them achieve their goals and enhance their quality of life.
• Collaborate with other healthcare practitioners to ensure comprehensive care, facilitating better patient outcomes.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient care services, progress notes, and outcome evaluations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Body Balance Physical Therapy, we serve a diverse clientele, primarily focusing on patients dealing with orthopedic issues. Our patients range from sport enthusiasts recovering from injuries to individuals seeking rehabilitation after surgical procedures. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid license for practicing as a Physical Therapist in the state of Nevada.
• A clean professional record with no history of disciplinary action against your license.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing and executing individualized exercise programs.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, is preferred to enhance documentation efficiency.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to implement evidence-based treatment modalities and encourage patient engagement.
• Proven track record in managing diverse patient cases and maximizing rehabilitation outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, employees can expect a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, fostering a supportive workplace culture.
