The Role

The role will identify and pursue new Streaming and Media sales opportunities, deliver product solutions, ensure customer satisfaction, and build lasting relationships to maximize company sales. You will present products and services to customers, manage accurate sales forecasts, and oversee quotas.

You are expected to drive digital transformation on Lumen's platform by prospecting and closing Vyvx, Storage, and Streaming & Media deals within the assigned accounts. The ideal candidate should understand both business and technical needs to offer tailored Lumen or partner solutions.

The Main Responsibilities
Participate in reseller trainings, conferences, and other channel events to enhance partner and internal knowledge of the VYVX value proposition and product portfolio
Build and maintain relationships with assigned partners, engaging with key product/sectors to help drive appropriate opportunities and participate in partner transactions
Work with assigned partners to build a base of VYVX opportunities and clearly define sales and revenue goals for incremental Lumen product sales
Provide partners with go-to-market strategies, identify new opportunities, and present solutions sales strategies
Leverage internal systems and processes to understand end-customer opportunities and partner profitability
Identify new business opportunities, through direct customer or partner interactions, interactions with product and market teams and/or mining existing customers
Conduct sales presentations and solution demonstrations and develop customer proposals and RFP responses
Follow up on all general leads and inquiries to maximize sales opportunities and credit partner-generated leads
Driving incremental VYVX product sales and revenue through engagement with designated Partners
Serve as liaison between organizations and internal stakeholders to resolve sales/channel conflicts, overlaps, and customer issues, ensuring an optimum partner and customer experience
Perform ad-hoc duties as necessary
What We Look For in a Candidate
  • Five plus  years of industry-specific sales Streaming and Media experience with a demonstrated track record of success 
  • Attention to detail and good organizational capabilities; understanding of the telecom industry's competitive landscape. 
  • Ability to prioritize with good time management skills; Self-motivated, pro-active, results-oriented professional with an ability to work with minimum direction.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com preferred.
  • Demonstrated effective communication, written, and formal presentation skills as well as proficiency in closing sales. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 
  • Requires at least 50% or more of time conducting sales activities outside of the office. 
  • Understanding of basic Edge/Cloud architecture, SaaS and Streaming and Media delivery Technologies
  • Ability to converse with business and operations managers about MES, IoT, Analytics, and Augmented Reality and the application of Lumen solutions to shop floor problems. 
  • Proficient selling with traditional Microsoft products and social media technologies in person, over the web, and via phone 
  • Communication skills to work with existing account managers, break into new accounts, educate customers, and partner stakeholders, and build relationships with sponsors. 
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
