Position Summary

The Director of Telecommunications & Cloud Infrastructure is responsible for the strategic leadership, design, implementation, security, and operational management of the health system’s telecommunications, voice, network transport, unified communications, and cloud connectivity environments. This role oversees enterprise telecommunications operations across hospitals, ambulatory sites, administrative offices, and remote workforce environments while ensuring high availability, resiliency, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and support for critical clinical systems.
The Director will lead initiatives involving telephony modernization, cloud communications, SD-WAN, contact center technologies, carrier management, disaster recovery communications, and integration with hybrid cloud environments including Azure and AWS. The position partners closely with Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Clinical Informatics, Operations, and Executive Leadership to ensure reliable and secure communication systems that support patient care and business continuity.
