Director of Corporate Sales

Rainmaker Hospitality is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Director of Corporate Sales to lead corporate account development and revenue growth across a portfolio of Marriott-branded hotels. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives on building strong partnerships, uncovering new business opportunities, and driving consistent results across multiple properties.


Position Overview

The Director of Corporate Sales is responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining corporate accounts that drive room night production and revenue. This individual will work closely with property teams and revenue management to strategically position each hotel within the market while maximizing profitability and market share.


Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively prospect, solicit, and secure new corporate accounts across the portfolio
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing key accounts to drive repeat business
  • Conduct outside sales calls, site visits, and client meetings
  • Negotiate and manage corporate rate agreements and RFPs
  • Collaborate with Revenue Management to ensure strategic rate positioning and account profitability
  • Analyze production reports and adjust strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals
  • Partner with on-property teams to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction
  • Represent the hotels at networking events, industry functions, and community engagements
  • Maintain accurate account and activity records in CRM systems (Delphi/FDC preferred)

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of hotel sales experience (corporate or business travel focus preferred)
  • Experience with Marriott systems and brand standards strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of prospecting and closing new business
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage a multi-property portfolio and prioritize effectively
  • Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven
  • Proficiency in Delphi, CI/TY reports, and Microsoft Office
