Job Description

The Assistant Director of Creative Media / Football will collaborate in the creation of
unique content and branding for the Virginia Tech Football program. This role partners in creating high-impact recruiting visuals and dynamic social media content designed to
engage prospective student-athletes and elevate the Virginia Tech Football brand. Collaborating closely with the Director and Senior Director of Football Creative Media, the Assistant Director helps execute a strategic communication plan that enhances recruiting efforts and strengthens the Football program's digital presence. Will demonstrate appropriate knowledge of NCAA rules & regulations pertaining to recruiting & social media. Will supervise & train creative media student interns. This position will report to the Sr. Director of Creative Media /Football.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field with relevant experience, or a master's degree.
Experience with Adobe products including Photoshop and Illustrator.
Previous experience working directly in a recruiting department and managing day to day creative materials.
Experience organizing and executing photo shoots for prospective student athletes.
Working knowledge of NCAA compliance relative to recruiting materials.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience photographing and/or filming football practices, games, and other events and producing videos through Adobe Premiere Pro and content through Adobe Lightroom.
Experience in a NCAA Division I Football program.
Supervisory experience overseeing interns, students, and volunteers with creating recruiting graphics, videos, and creative materials.
