Job description

The Director of Creative and Communications is a leadership position in the Creative & Communications area of Central Support and has central responsibilities for Communications, Social Media, Video and Graphics.

Purpose: This position will develop and implement effective communications strategies for the church and ministries to convey vision and priorities toappropriate audiences. This role will also lead the creative process across ministries.

  • Lead strategic meetings with ministries to define, develop, and effectively communicate messages to target audiences.
  • Manage the Rush Creek Church brand to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Ensure timing and deadlines are met for video, printing, slides,creativeand all communications.
  • Provide strategic leadership to the Communications Team and Crew
  • (creators, photographers, designers, data analysts, etc.)
  • Oversee the creative process related to sermon series and other strategic
  • ministry activities.
  • Own the Rush Creek digital strategy and implementation plan.
  • Champion the capture and communication of stories that promote the
  • mission and vision of Rush Creek.
  • Manage the operational budget, time-awayand other tactical components for the Communications Team.
  • Must be a follower of Christ and havedemonstratedfaith through full
  • immersion baptism.
  • At least 5 years of experience serving in a similar role for another
  • A track recordof completing creative projects with excellence and
  • A strong creative mind that can function within a consistent brand
  • Anability to manage teams effectively.
  • An understanding of current marketing and communications strategies and tools.
  • A bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in a related field.
