ISC’s team of Manufacturing Recruiters is partnering with a thriving, a well-established $100M private equity-backed manufacturing organization experiencing significant growth through strategic acquisitions.

They are seeking an accomplished Director of Human Resources to join the executive leadership team and drive the people strategy during the company's next phase of expansion.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director of HR will serve as a trusted business partner to executive leadership, leading all aspects of human resources while supporting organizational growth, operational excellence, and value creation.

This executive will play a critical role in building scalable HR processes, integrating acquisitions, developing leadership talent, and fostering a high-performance culture across multiple manufacturing locations. The role also oversees HR operations, talent strategy, compliance, compensation, benefits, employee engagement, and organizational development.

Director of HR Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the company's human capital strategy aligned with business goals
  • Partner with executive leadership and private equity stakeholders on growth initiatives
  • Lead all HR functions including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, employee relations, compliance, and succession planning
  • Drive acquisition due diligence, integration, and cultural alignment
  • Build scalable HR processes to support continued growth
  • Lead workforce planning, retention, leadership development, and employee engagement
  • Develop HR metrics and KPIs to support business performance and decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws across multiple locations
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing HR team

Director of HR Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 10+ years of progressive HR leadership, including executive-level experience
  • HR leadership experience within a private equity-backed manufacturing organization
  • Multi-site manufacturing experience supporting geographically dispersed operations
  • Proven success leading acquisitions, integrations, and organizational change
  • Experience building scalable HR systems and processes in high-growth environments
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and talent management
  • Strategic business partner with the ability to influence executive leadership
  • SHRM-SCP or equivalent certification preferred
