Job Description

Allied Universal is hiring a Director of Strategy and Operations. The Director of Strategy and Operations Is responsible for being a core member of the Corporate Strategy team. Activities will include executing analysis, developing proposed action items, and leading initiatives related to margin improvement, integration support, and operational support to the field.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project manage and execute post-merger integrations across business units, including Allied Universal Technology Services, Allied Universal Facility Services
  • Support buy-side diligence and synergy estimation
  • Coordinate across all back-office functions and field personnel
  • Ensure all integration timelines are met and all stakeholders are informed of progress
  • Build integration playbook for Allied Universal Technology Services and Allied Universal Facility Services, based on existing AUS Integration playbook and methodology
  • Identify and mitigate any potential risks throughout the integration process
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including executive leadership, to ensure successful integration
  • Continuously assess and improve integration processes
  • Support the Strategy & Operations team with corporate initiatives when bandwidth exists
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all information related to post-merger integrations and corporate initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or related field
  • At least 5 years worth of experience in strategy and operations role, such as corporate strategy, Strategy and Operations, where you were responsible for the execution and day-to-day management of C-suite level initiatives (e.g., re-structuring, transformation)
  • At least 2 years worth of Project Management experience (not necessarily with Project Manager title, but having managed projects with significant P&L exposure and impact
  • Exposure to Post Merger Integrations (e.g., owned workstream within integration, Project Managed Integration)
  • Proven experience in scoping, managing, and executing cross-functional C-suite priorities such as transformation, restructuring, post merger integration
  • Desire to see the project through to execution
  • History of quickly picking up on new functional or business unit concepts
  • Working knowledge of key concepts within post merger integration
  • Highly organized and likes to execute a plan
  • Ability to effectively manage and coordinate across multiple teams and functions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence others
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Expert with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated experience and performance in post-merger integration
  • 2 years in management consulting

BENEFITS:

  • $150,000 - $170,000 annually. This range represents the expected base compensation for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

  • Eight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days
  • Vacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly. Unused vacation is only paid out where required by law.
