Director of Nursing (Behavioral Health) - Pinehurst, NC
Horizon Health Corporation is seeking a Director of Nursing (Behavioral Health) at First Health Moore Regional Health in Pinehurst, NC. This unit is a 28 bed adult/ dual diagnosis program.
Responsibilities:
  • Must be able to work in partnership with hospital president, system CNO and other hospital staff.
  • Must have demonstrated experience in leading within a Professional Governance environment.
  • Must have strong skills in the management of human resources with the ability to handle multiple demands simultaneously.
  • Strong planning and organization skills required.
  • Strong skills in leveraging technology for productivity and nursing information systems required.
  • Demonstrated business, financial, and clinical skills to manage the operations of assigned departments to ensure high quality, patient focused care required.
  • Demonstrated leadership and administrative skills with the ability to develop and coach staff as well as the ability to delegate.
  • Strong listening and critical thinking skills required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with various accrediting bodies.
  • Active Registered Nurse licensure in North Carolina.
